Mendel & Company regularly provides a “Day of Carpentry” to a variety of causes. These days are typically auctioned off at silent auctions throughout the year.
Mendel & Company is passionate about our community, which has been helping us grow since 1997. Over the years we have helped dozens of non-profit organizations with both financial contributions and thousands of hands-on hours. From building playhouses for charity auctions (our house got the highest bid!) to harvesting food for local food banks to mentoring high school kids interested in the trades, Mendel employees always find time to make a positive difference!

Mendel & Company has provided material, labor and financial support to this amazing woman and her family. In partnership with Radetsky Design, Cynthia Cohen Design, CBA Construction, Cody Flooring, Current Electric and many others, Mendel & Company completed a full ADA remodel of a kitchen, bathroom, flooring and ramps for Linda’s home in Castle Rock, Colorado. This has allowed Linda to function in her home and provide “meals on wheels” to others in need in the community.
Mendel & Company has partnered with Donor Alliance to raise awareness of organ and tissue donation programs in our state. Did you know that Colorado has the highest rate of donor participation in the country?
Since 2016, Mendel & Company has been supporting the Big Idea Project. The Big Idea Project brings communities together under one vision: to develop our nation’s future leaders. Local businesses, professionals and neighbors work together to mentor local students, teaching them to become leaders through self-directed action. Mendel & Company currently has three active mentors working in the community!
Founder and President Nathan Mendel is a long-term board member at Temple Sinai, and is the head of the Building Committee. Currently the committee is evaluating the cost/benefit of a new preschool building, as the current facility is over 60 years old. In addition, the company regularly provides labor and materials for various projects and money for myriad fundraising efforts.
